A WEEKEND AT GORDON COUNTRY
From Friday 19th April to Sunday 21st April, the Olas Social Club embarked on an epic journey, marking the beginning of our inaugural Camp Out. Nestled in the picturesque embrace of Gordon Country, our weekend was a whirlwind of campfires, off-road adventures, hiking, and so much more!
About Gordon Country:
Nestled in the heart of the Goomburra Valley on the Darling Downs, Gordon Country is a hidden gem. This family-owned paradise offers everything from traditional camping experiences to luxurious glamping, cabins, and caravan stays, all amidst the backdrop of pristine bushland.
Bordering the Gondwana Rainforest, Gordon Country boasts endless kilometers of walking trails and exhilarating 4WD tracks waiting to be explored. Each campsite comes equipped with its own established open campfire pit, making it effortless to gather 'round, ignite the flames, and bask in the warmth of camaraderie.
But perhaps the most enchanting aspect of Gordon Country is its ability to disconnect you from the outside world entirely. It's a sanctuary where you can truly unwind and immerse yourself in the natural splendour that surrounds you.
The Weekend Adventure:
With the crack of dawn on Friday morning, our intrepid crew descended upon Gordon Country, eager to set up camp and dive headfirst into the excitement. Over 70 attendees, including friends of the brand, ambassadors, staff, and content creators, joined us for an unforgettable experience.
Friday night kicked off with a bang, as we toasted to the weekend ahead with welcome drinks courtesy of Mr. Consistent, Volando Tequila & Pals. A blazing campfire provided the perfect backdrop as we indulged in toasted marshmallows, laughter, and endless stories.
Saturday morning greeted us with the chirping of birds and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee from the iconic Willy’s Beans Jeep. Fuelled by caffeine, we embarked on a day of adventure, with guests free to pursue their passions. Whether it was the beautiful hikes or adrenaline-pumping four-wheel driving, there was something for everyone. Meanwhile, the Olas Supply Co team captured the essence of the day, creating magic for an upcoming Winter Campaign.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, we were treated to a culinary spectacle courtesy of the VNTR Ops team. Picture this: succulent meats, vibrant vegetables, and amazing aromas mingling over an open campfire, creating a feast fit for royalty. Dinner wasn’t just a meal; it was an experience.
Sunday morning dawned with more of Willy’s Bean coffee, bittersweet farewells, and the bittersweet task of packing up. With hearts full of memories and cups overflowing, we bid adieu to Gordon Country, already counting down the days until our next adventure.
